A healthy and balanced life requires balance in work and sleep cycles. It is very important for a person to take enough rest to rejuvenate him for the next day. Due to increased workload the sleep cycle is disturbed for many of us. Work stress and lack of rest further leads to escalation of problem.. Studies show that complains of insomnia amongst people has increased over time. Insomnia reduces productivity of a person and makes one feel lethargic and lazy all day. This can be attributed mostly to the dynamic sleep cycle of the people nowadays. Therefore it becomes very important to have a proper sleep schedule.

What can help us in having a sleep schedule is nothing but a sleep calculator. It recommends when to go to sleep in order to wake up feeling refreshed. It suggests sleeping time based on the stages of sleep and helps avoid waking up in the middle of the sleep cycle. The calculator does not consider how long a person needs to fall asleep. On average, it takes about 14 minutes to fall asleep. It targets both quantity and quality of sleep. For calculating ideal sleep time using it you just need your wake up time. Here’s how it work:                                                                                              

  • The average sleep cycle is 90 minutes long
  • A typical night of sleep includes 5 full sleep cycles
  • 90 x 5 = 450 minutes, or 7.5 hours
  • Starting at your wake time, work back 7.5 hours to find your bedtime.

This is about the quantity of sleep. Now let’s focus on the quality of sleep. When it comes to quality of sleep the importance of a good quality mattress can’t be overemphasized. The good mattress comforts you and improves your sleep quality. There are varieties of mattresses available in market today according to ideal requirement. The most talked about are the memory foam ones and especially the king memory foam mattress. These are king size mattresses which gives unmatched comfort and support. . It is filled with foam in multiple layers which gives the right width to mattress. It is called memory foam because it retains your shape for a while after you get off it. . Other than sleep time our body needs rest hours in which we may lay back and read some book or listen to some music. Here the bundle bean bag is extremely helpful. Bundle is made from 2 kinds of memory foam and not beans. As it doesn’t contain bean it retains its shape while confirming to your body.  Two types of memory foam used gives perfect combination of comfort and support while reading, resting or watching TV. Knowing that it is stain resistant really gives us peace of mind if you have kids or dogs.
